Sunland

Sunland-Tujunga is a semi-rural neighborhood located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and the 1,024 square miles (2652 sq km) Angeles National Forest. Its claim to fame is being the site where Steven Spielberg filmed E.T.’s forest scenes. Sunland-Tujunga is home to the Angeles National Gold Club, which features a top-rated course and spectacular views of the mountains. There is a smattering of restaurants and shops around. Most of the homes here are family-sized, and as you head further up the hills, you’ll find large properties that are great for horse owners. Houses are affordable, but you are definitely off the beaten path up in this neighborhood. Sunland-Tujunga is bordered on the north by Angeles National Forest, on the east by Glendale, and on the south and west by Shadow Hills. Check out the latest sold properties.
