April 7 - Masters of Taste

Sunday, April 7, 2019, at 3 PM – 7 PM pm

Masters of Taste is a premier food and beverage festival on the field of the iconic Rose Bowl. 100% of event proceeds benefit Union Station Homeless Services, a 501(c)(3) organization. #EatMoreGiveMore

The fourth annual event introduces an exciting new host chef concept, featuring Michael Hung (Faith and Flower) as the premier event host/ambassador. Join over 2,500 food and beverage enthusiasts and walk the Rose Bowl field while enjoying delicious, unlimited tastings from LA's top Master Chefs and restaurants, craft cocktail bars, wineries, and local breweries.

April 13 - Special Olympics Tri-Valley at Crescenta Valley High School

Don’t miss an amazing opening ceremony starting at 8:00 am. The athletes will compete from 9:00 – 12:30 pm.

Visit the snack shack on the filed as JohnHart will be helping out and all funds raised will be donated back to the Special Olympics.

Big Bunny’s Spring Fling at the Los Angeles Zoo

The LA Zoo is the perfect place for the bunny to make an appearance and their Spring Fling event couldn’t be more fitting. The theme this year is birds, bees, butterflies and blossoms where, for two weekends in a row, there will also be (wait for it) Big Bunny!

The all-ages Easter activities include an “egg-ucation station” featuring fuzzy bunnies for petting, animal feedings, bunny ear crafts, roaming puppeteers, the “Amazing Monarchs” aerialist show, and photos with the Easter Bunny himself (for a nominal fee).

When: Sat.-Sun. Apr. 13-14; Apr. 19-21

April 27 - Crescenta Valley Hometown Country Fair

The Hometown Country Fair features a car show, live entertainment, a dog parade, pie-eating contest, traditional and ethnic food, karaoke Contest, inflatables, a silent auction and a wide variety of vendor booths, providing fun for people of all ages. It is usually held on a Saturday in April at Crescenta Valley Park.

The chamber hosts the Fair each year to foster cohesiveness in the community, to allow various groups in the community to exhibit, and to raise funds for the chamber’s many projects throughout the year. Non-profit organizations may have a booth at no charge. Admission is free.
