DTLA Donut Fest – Hosted by Union Station

Union Station is taking guests into the center of the donut renaissance with a one-day edible exploration of L.A.’s favorite pastry at the 2nd Annual DTLA Donut Fest.

California’s Largest Donut Festival to Feature Award Winning Voodoo Doughnuts, California Donuts and Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken.

The original “rush-hour” confection is having a renaissance, and Union Station is taking guests into the center of the movement at the 2nd annual DTLA Donut Festival, Saturday, June 8, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Union Station South Patio. The momentously mouthwatering event will showcase the donut in all its many forms: plain, glazed and filled; traditional; and new wave.

June 17 Montrose Bowling Alley

Summer Hours are now 10a.m. to 2p.m MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY – $28 per hour per lane for up to 6 people.

TUESDAY NIGHTS are 7 to 11 p.m.

$15 per person for up to 2 hours. We require a minimum of 4 people per lane or a total of $60 for up to 2 hours per lane. But, if you want to use a lane by yourself for 2 hours, you can simply pay the the full $60 or 2 people can pay $30 each. Then of course, if you/your friends would like to rent a lane for more than 2 hours you can do that (i.e. $30 pp or a total of $120 total for the lane for 4 hours). We just think it’s more fun for 4 people to bowl on a lane at one time (teams of 2). 😎

*As we roll our new programs out (i.e. open bowling and league in particular), keep in mind that our private party and film location business is still our core business focus. BUT! We have heard your (our community’s) requests and we are very excited to offer these new programs at Montrose Bowl. To that end we will continue to make a few changes here and there (FYI we will soon be adding an online/mobile booking platform for event, filming and open bowling reservations!) as well as more additions to all of these new programs as we move along!

Los Angeles Zoo Sustainable Wine and Dinner Series

Farm-to-table dinners, local wineries, and an exciting take on conservation and sustainability. We’ve partnered with local, environmentally friendly wineries whose wines serve as the inspiration for custom five-course, farm-to-table dinner menus created by our own executive chef, Brad Robertson.

Each unforgettable evening is set in a different location within the zoo – the terraces of Mahale Mountains, for example, or the Amazonian stilt house within Rainforest of the Americas, or the Cambodian viewing area of Elephants of Asia.

Along with the spectacular views, enjoy looking at sustainability from different angles – from agriculture to food and wine production to wildlife conservation. Each evening focuses on a different topic and features conversations with a curator or keeper, up-close animal encounters, and wine introductions from winery representatives.
