Community Corner June

Ending the month of May and moving into June our Foothill communities start to get Summer mode. We end May with Memorial Day Observances ceremonies and long weekend events. Followed by the end of the schools year and a list of exciting events and tidbits to kick off the Summer month of June.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to some very special kids, the Crescenta Commons kids at Monte Vista Elementary. A group of them came out and planted for over 2 hours in order to beautify the Crescenta Commons gardens. Prior to planting, they had raised almost $500.00 so we could add and replace plants on the site. I made a little video slideshow to feature all of their hard work. I hope you enjoy the show.
