Community Corner May

Robbyn Battles created Community Corner to highlight events, issues, projects, non-profits and tidbits that are simply good in our communities. Some of the mentions are very popular within our communities and others are not so well known and deserve a little bit more attention. A great way to see what is happening throughout our Foothill communities.

Meet the Crescenta Commons Kids. A group of  3rd, 5th, and 6th graders from Monte Vista Elementary that have all volunteered to help keep the “Crescenta Commons” clean and beautiful. The kids had a fundraiser one day after school and raised just under $500.00. The funds will be used buy plants for the Commons. On Saturday, May 20th the kids will all get together at the site and plant all of the new plants.
