I am very proud to represent CV Town Council as the 2014 Council President. The year has already started with some pretty exciting things. Council will have a quarterly series called “State of the Community” Every quarter there will be a panel of experts, community volunteers, representatives and others addressing the community in an open forum discussion format. This will allow community members an opportunity to have their questions answered as well as give the panel time to update the community.
In addition a motion will go before county supervisors to allow middle schools in the unincorporated areas to have a crossing guard. Why is this so important? This will allow our local middle school, Rosemont to keep there’s. Also, going before the county today is a motion to ban big rigs from parking overnight on the streets of unincorporated Montrose/La Crescenta.
Come join me and the Town Council on the third Thursday of every month, 7:00pm at the La Crescenta Library.
