On 8 AM on Saturday, October 19th 2019,  JohnHart Real Estate and 12 local and national organizations will kick off the very first Walk For a Cause in Glendale, California. 5,000+ participants are expected to attend the walk, and we at JohnHart are raising $150,000 for each charity that we have hand-picked. The charities and organizations that we have selected are:

American Kidney Fund: The nation’s leading non-profit working on behalf of the 37 million Americans with kidney disease.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV): A non-profit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans and their families since 1920.

Glendale Educational Foundation: A community of individuals that have come together to provide outstanding schools for the children in the Glendale Unified School District.

Heal Within International: This organization is an after-school program that offers integrative healing techniques for children between 8 and 17 years old. They help children regardless of race/ethnicity, religion, etc.

Kin’s Kids: An organization dedicated to helping kids with cancer and their families during treatment.

Olam Eco Center: A nonprofit organization offering treatment for mental illness and substance abuse through nature conservation projects, education, and sustainable living.

Our Lady of Grace School: A K-8 Catholic school in Encino, CA that first opened in September 1947.

Prom PlusA charitable event hosted every year in La Crescenta as an alternative for unsupervised Prom parties.

Saddles for Soldiers: An organization that is part of Shadow Hills Riding Club, offered to all military personnel, first responders, and their families who live with emotional or physical disabilities.

Special Olympics – Santa Clarita: Special Olympics – Santa Clarita, an organization that enriches the lives of 1,400 athletes with intellectual disabilities and their communities through sports, education, and athlete health.

Special Spirit, Inc.: An organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding lessons to children and adults with physical and cognitive challenges.

Valley Oasis: a domestic violence shelter that provides services for men, women, children, emancipated minors, LGBQTIA individuals and all races, socio-economic backgrounds, and religious beliefs.

YMCA of the Foothills:
