It’s Official: The Robbyn Battles Podcast, I’m Just Sayin’, Has Launched
If you haven’t heard, I have a podcast, and I’m having a blast. I’m Just Sayin’ | Let’s Get to the Point with Robbyn Battles has become one of my favorite ways to meet interesting people, ask a lot of questions and learn about subjects I might never have explored otherwise. The Robbyn Battles Podcast is built around one very simple idea: if you have something you care about, something you know, something you’ve experienced or something you want people to understand better, I want to hear about it.
There is no one category that defines the show, and that is exactly what makes the podcast so much fun. One conversation might be about protecting your home from wildfires, while another might be about helping seniors stay connected, planning for your family, understanding insurance, supporting a nonprofit or running a small business. The common thread is always the same. I’m interested in people who have something meaningful, useful or simply fascinating to share.
What Kind of Conversations Will You Find on I’m Just Sayin’?
So far, the conversations have taken us in all kinds of directions. I’ve talked with EmberPro about protecting homes from wildfires, insurance professionals about the challenges homeowners are facing, and Pasadena Village about the community they’ve created for older adults. I’ve also spoken with trust attorneys, estate planners and life insurance professionals about decisions families often do not think about until they suddenly need answers.
One estate-planning conversation taught me something I had never really considered before: once your child turns 18, there are important legal documents families should be thinking about. Another wonderful conversation focused on Alzheimer’s and the realities families face when a loved one’s memory begins to change. We’ve also highlighted nonprofits such as Challenge.org, which helps people continue rehabilitation and physical therapy after traditional insurance coverage ends.
These are only a few examples. The bucket of topics will never be too full because there will always be another person, another profession, another cause, another organization or another idea worth exploring. That is what I love most about I’m Just Sayin’ | Let’s Get to the Point with Robbyn Battles.
What Are You Passionate About?
Maybe you are a master gardener. I would love to have a master gardener on the show because I would have plenty of questions. Maybe you spent 30 years in a profession most people know almost nothing about. Perhaps you own a small shop, run a nonprofit, volunteer for an organization, coach kids, work with animals, restore old cars, teach, create art, help families, build things or know everything there is to know about a subject that most of us never stop to think about.
Your profession does not have to define the conversation. You may have retired from one career and discovered an entirely different passion. You may be working on something new, trying to solve a problem, building a business, helping a neighborhood or simply wishing more people understood a subject you care deeply about. If you can sit across from me and say, “You know what people should know about this?” then we already have something to talk about.
Be My Guest on I’m Just Sayin’
What are you passionate about? What are you working on? What do you know that other people might find helpful, surprising or simply interesting? You do not need podcast experience, a large following or a polished presentation. My only requirement is that you have something you would enjoy talking about and you have to be kind.
Why Is Curiosity at the Heart of the Robbyn Battles Podcast?
I’m curious. Plain and simple. I’ve spent years sitting across kitchen tables talking with clients, families and people from all walks of life, and the conversation almost always moves beyond the reason we sat down in the first place. Someone mentions what they used to do for a living, an organization they support, a problem they are trying to solve or something they recently learned, and I immediately want to know more.
That curiosity is the heart of the Robbyn Battles Podcast. I am not inviting people on because I need to agree with every opinion or every conclusion. I want to understand what someone knows, hear the experience behind the opinion and learn why that subject matters to them. If I walk away with one piece of information I did not know before the conversation started, then the interview was worth having. If we have a good laugh somewhere along the way, even better.
Here’s a Little Taste of What You’ll Find
Sometimes you may not have time to watch or listen to a full conversation, which is why we also create short clips from the podcast. These 30-second excerpts give you a quick look at the people, ideas and topics you’ll find throughout I’m Just Sayin’. You might hear a surprising estate-planning fact, a wildfire-protection tip, a nonprofit story, a business lesson or a moment from a conversation that makes you want to hear the rest.
I put together a special collection of podcast Shorts so you can browse a variety of guests and subjects in just a few minutes. Think of these short videos as a sampler. Watch a few clips, find someone or something that catches your attention and then jump into the full conversation.

Would you rent at 89?
Robbyn brought her a real client scenario. Sell the house, take the equity, go rent. Christina's answer had nothing to do with the numbers.
She works reverse mortgages full time and she's watched what happens when a landlord decides to sell and an 89 year old has 30 days.

Could You Be a Guest on I’m Just Sayin’?
Absolutely. You do not need a huge following, a polished presentation, a publicist or any experience being interviewed. You simply need something you would enjoy talking about. That might be your profession, a nonprofit you support, a hobby you love, an unusual experience, a community project, a business, a cause or a subject you wish more people understood.
My only criterion is simple: you have to be kind. You and I do not have to agree on everything, and I do not expect every conversation to land in exactly the same place. Respectful conversations can still be interesting, challenging, funny and useful. Kindness keeps the conversation worth having.

We intentionally made the entire process simple. Choose a time from my podcast calendar, tell us a little about yourself and what you want to talk about, and my team takes care of the rest. You do not need to drive to a studio, learn podcast equipment or figure out how to produce anything afterward.

After we finish recording, my podcast team handles the production work. They edit the full conversation, prepare the finished episode and create shorter social-media clips from the interview. You receive the full video and links so you can share the conversation with your own clients, customers, friends, followers or community.
We also create social content from the episode, share video through platforms such as YouTube and Facebook, and write a blog post about you and what we discussed. You do not leave the interview with a list of editing, posting and production tasks. You bring the conversation, and our team takes care of the rest.
So, What Do You Want to Talk About?
That is really the question behind the whole show. We have already talked about wildfire protection, insurance, seniors, Alzheimer’s, estate planning, life insurance, rehabilitation, nonprofits, housing and community organizations. The next conversation could be about gardening, a neighborhood business, an unusual profession, a creative project or something I do not even know I am interested in yet.
There will never be too many subjects and there will never be too many interesting people. I have a lot of interests, and you probably do too. Together, we can spotlight some of those interests, introduce people to ideas they might never have discovered otherwise and have a good time along the way.
Listen to an episode on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, watch a full conversation on YouTube, catch one of the Shorts or browse the Robbyn Battles Podcast page.
